The lab escaped to Rockaway Beach

Between preprints and microscope sessions, even biophysicists need a Friday off. So we traded lasers and dye vials for sunscreen, packed a suspiciously large jug of water, and took the ferry out to Rockaway Beach.

Sunshine, saltwater, and excellent company. Somewhere between the sandcastles and the waves we may have discussed a hypothesis or two, but mostly we just soaked up the summer.

Best control experiment of the year: confirmed the group works just as well with zero microscopes. See you at the next one!
